NWRC Celebrates 30 Years in Business!

Northwest Reading Clinic, Inc., is proud to announce that 2015 marks our

30th year in business. Being able to serve our clients with both compassion and quality for such a long period truly is something to celebrate. Our business has grown from one office and three clinicians to six clinics and nearly 20 staff members, in addition to our many treasured clients past and present. We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to each and every one of you, both clients and clinicians, for helping us become the company we are today. We could not have done it without you!

The field of reading and literacy is constantly changing as new research and a better understanding of how the brain works is acquired. While we continue to be dedicated to the methodologies we utilize, we promise to remain committed to sustaining the quality, one-on-one services we currently provide even as we constantly research, renew, and upgrade to remain current and relevant. Our work has a domino effect. What we do today affects those around us. Our goal is to empower our students with literacy skills and confidence. Braced with these qualities, our hope is that these individuals will be able to face the challenges of school and life with

greater success. As we proceed into the next decades, we will remain

committed to that cause, and look to the future with confidence and hope.

Donate to the Cause

In 2015, Northwest Reading Clinic’s director, Diane MW Budden,

accompanied practitioners with the Global Alternative Healthcare Project (GAHP) to the Navajo Nation in Arizona. There they delivered free,

high-quality alternative healthcare and tools for sustainable health to this underserved, remote community. As an all-volunteer organization,

donations for medical supplies to GAHP are greatly appreciated.

Donations can be directed to any particular project (i.e. Nepal, Navajo Nation, or Bali). To find more information about GAHP’s mission,

or to donate, please visit:  www.gahpworks.com.

Sweet Success!

Below please find an article from The Columbian on our former student, Tanner Roggenkamp. Northwest Reading Clinic is proud to share his accomplishments, and to have taken part in the journey to his success!

Refreshers

If you would like to schedule your child for a refresher during the winter, spring or summer break(s), please contact us as soon as possible. It’s the perfect time for your child to brush up on those reading, spelling and comprehension skills, and our schedule fills up quickly!

Fourth School Added to

Northwest Reading Clinic Roster

Through our partnership with a charitable grant foundation, Northwest Reading Clinic is proud to offer our services to and implement treatment programs at four Portland-area public schools. We offer a big ‘Thank you!’

to our grant partner: We are honored to have you, and to be able to

provide such an invaluable service to our local children!
